City Proclamation

On December 4, 2007, the Fernandina Pirates were awarded with their first official City Proclamation from the City of Fernandina Beach, FL.

The monumental task of restoring our beloved Peg Leg Pete was more than just a labor of love for pirate, board member and acting Float Chairman, George Jernigan.

Club President, Eric Childers (2006-2008) accepted the award, flanked by his loyal crew, at the City Council Meeting.

For ye pirates of the over educated variety, here's the actual text of the City Proclamation for you to read with your good eye.
